Every year I look forward to the high school trip because it is always guaranteed to be an amazing and memorable trip in some form. This year’s trip to D.C. not only met my basic expectations, but exceeded them. Exploring the nation’s capital with the upperclassmen and teachers reminded me that the bonds formed during my time at St. Stephen’s are much bigger than the classroom. From rooming with the senior guys, to experiencing powerful memorials and museums, to merry dining experiences with amazing teachers, every day of the trip brought something unforgettable. The tradition of the high school trip at St. Stephen’s will always be a monumental high point for every student that gets to be a part of it. I’m glad I was this year, and I will cherish the memories made forever.
