04 Feb Robotics Team State Championship
Our Archers Robotics team was awarded the first State FIRST LEGO League trophy in our school’s history – 2nd place Research Project Award. The team has designed a container for growing sprouts in space – without light and with no gravity. The gardening in space experience will reduce boredom during long space travel (it takes six months to get to Mars) and allow the astronauts to arrange the hexagonal containers into different designs for extra entertainment. Congratulations! We are very proud of all the students. They competed well in all parts of the tournament.
