This year’s house competition culminated with our Roman Forum. The Forum was a three-part event including a Latin spelling bee, an oratory competition, and the gnosis logou, which is a Taboo-style word guessing game. The Forum was especially energized by the influx of recently inducted house members who were able to compete for their houses for the first time. On the day, Essex came up big with 1,100 points, and Castile made their strongest showing of the year earning 700. Milan earned 600, and Capet earned 400.
