…11th grade students have been learning about the quantum principles governing atomic structures. To put their understanding to the test, students played electron-ic battleship. “Ships” were placed across different elements on the periodic table and students took turns “firing” at different elements by naming specific electron configurations of those elements. St. Stephen’s Academy is clearly a special place: how many chemistry classes across the country would end with students requesting more time to solve quantum physics problems?
