Professional Background: Mrs. Adams completed her elementary education degree in 1998. After reading a book on classical Christian education and spending a week in a school based on that approach, she was hooked! Soon after, she started a cottage school for 4 th -7 th graders in her home, creating a 2-year course using classical content and methods. During the past 22 years, she has homeschooled her children, tutored individual students, and taught many subjects to children of all ages in a classical Christian co-op.
Philosophy of Education: 1 Peter 2:4-5 reads, “Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” Children are a precious gift from God! He has entrusted us with the task of raising up immortals, creatures made in the image of God, intended to glorify and enjoy their Creator for eternity. This is a high calling! I hope to support the work of parents and churches by pointing my students to their Savior and Lord and showcasing the wonders of His word and His world.
