Professional Background: Kara worked in accounts payable/receivable for seven years at a large company in the Portland area she and her husband decided to start a family and she stayed home with their daughter. In order to be a stay-at-home mom and contribute financially, she started her own cleaning business in 2012, which she carried on until she began working at St. Stephen’s. Prior to joining the St. Stephen’s staff, Kara was a regular volunteer in the Lower School for many years.
Philosophy of Education: I believe that teaching how to learn is equally important as what we learn.
