Philosophy of Education: Education is the means by which curious learners gain an understanding of God, themselves, and the world. When done well, education can provide students with the tools to broaden their perspective, properly orient themselves in the world, and participate with God in His purposes. In this way, education is not only about the growth and liberation of the mind, but also the cultivation and even sanctification of the soul. Mr. Reasoner seeks to implement this philosophy in the classroom by engaging texts with an open posture, fostering critical thinking, contextualizing information within grand narratives, and nurturing an enjoyment of God.
