Professional Background: Rev. Parker has been a Teaching Elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) since 2016 and served as a pastor in Mississippi before venturing to the Pacific Northwest to serve as the Senior Pastor at Evergreen Presbyterian Church. While in Mississippi he was an adjunct professor at Belhaven University, teaching New Testament and Old Testament classes. He has written extensively for Reformation 21 since 2007.
Educational Philosophy: Rev. Parker considers it a very high calling to labor alongside others in training up young people as disciples. Education is not simply about the communication of facts and information, but is about personal formation and transformation as students learn wisdom and eloquence.
