25 Jun Summer Volunteer Opportunities
We still need your help during the summer! Hours served in July and August count toward next year. Please contact Kim Bello if you can help with any of these:
Spend time with SSA friends: Host a grade level gathering any time throughout the summer at any summertime gathering spot: parks, zoo, movies, etc. Your time spent planning and attending counts toward your volunteer hours. SSA will contact all students enrolled in the grade level you are hosting, and SSA kids and parents can spend time connecting with one another, including welcoming new families to SSA.
Carpet Cleaning Day: We need 3 strong people (adults or high school students) to help move furniture around during carpet cleaning day, Friday, July 20. Two shifts available: 9:00am-12:30pm, 12:30-4:00pm.
Facility Work Nights: We will have 3 work nights at North Campus as we prepare for the new school year. Tasks may include installing cabinets, handyman jobs, cleaning, yard work, etc. August 7, 14, 21: 6:30-9:00pm
Landscape Maintenance: Many ways to help: mowing, weedeating, treating weeds, trimming, and blowing. On your schedule
Professional Grade Painting: The exterior doors at NC need to be professionally spray painted. Are you a professional painter or do you have access to such services?
