Where Community and Learning Meet
At St. Stephen’s Academy, our community is our strength. The bonds formed between students, parents, teachers, and staff make the St. Stephen’s experience exceptionally rich. Driven by our core belief in service and fellowship, our community thrives on active parental involvement, hosting events, fostering fellowship, and glorifying God in every endeavor.
“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them…”
Romans 12:4-6
Get Involved at St. Stephen's
At St. Stephen’s Academy, we cherish the sense of community that exists among our students, parents, teachers, staff, and extended family members. This bond is the result of the combined efforts of volunteer parents who work tirelessly to foster fellowship, organize events, raise funds, and provide additional assistance and support to our teachers and staff, all while glorifying God.
The Role of Parents in Our Community
At St. Stephen’s Academy, we believe that parents play a crucial role in their child’s education. We are looking for families who are not only interested in a classical Christian education but also want to be an active part of our community. Our school is built on the foundation of the Church, the family, and the school, and we believe that it is the parent's responsibility to provide the right setting for their child's education and discipleship. Our goal is to help families educate their children to be Christian scholars. However, we cannot do it alone. Studies have shown that successful schools are those where parents play an active role. Therefore, we encourage parents to participate in classroom activities, school fundraisers, and other school events. This involvement will help you understand and appreciate the quality of education that your child is receiving at SSA. We are looking for families who are eager to participate in their child's learning and who are willing to partner with us. Families who expect the school to do everything for their child will not thrive at St. Stephen's Academy. We desire to work together with families who seek not only a fine classical Christian education but also to be an integral part of a community that serves God and man.
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”
1 Peter 4:10
