Since Reformation Day is a celebration of an historical event, we encourage students to dress up in a costumes in accordance with history. It is a celebration of the Reformation and not Halloween, so costumes should be limited to historical or literary figures and themes of the Medieval and Reformation periods. We encourage students to be creative, but they should refrain from dressing up as anything ghoulish (e.g. zombies, devils, witches) or modern. Think: princesses, knights, Robin Hood, maidens, popes, cardinals, bishops, noblewomen, noblemen, servants, serfs, tailors, street beggars, monks, etc. Students who do not wish to wear a costume should wear their usual school uniform (Archers and house shirts are allowed).
