Back to School Family Fun Night

At the beginning of each school year the entire school community comes together for an evening of food and fellowship. The event is a great way to get to know other families in the school and start the year in a fun way.

Protocol Dinner

What is protocol? In her book Protocol Matters, Sandra Boswell defines protocol as etiquette, manners, decorum, and social arts that result in easy treasures of joyful social interaction. That doesn’t mean the work of protocol is easy; far from it! But the treasures themselves of pleasant interaction are easy once you have the tools of protocol.

For Christians, protocol is an opportunity to put Philippians 4:8 into action:

“Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

We believe that St. Stephen’s has an obligation to support parents and churches by providing regular opportunities for students to put their education into practice. What better way than to gather together during the school year for challenges in maturity and social selflessness in a dinner and dancing event.
