22 Oct Dr. Robert Godfrey Talk

On Friday, October 7, at Tigard Christian Church, St. Stephen’s Academy hosted Dr. Robert Godfrey as part of our ACCS Regional Training event.  Dr. Godfrey spoke to us on the topic of Christian education and the future.  We would encourage all members of our school community to take the time to listen to this talk.  It was a message of hope and a great encouragement to those that view the Christian school as a institution worth supporting and promoting in the culture today.

Dr. Godfrey has taught church history at Westminster Seminary California since 1981, having previously taught at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Stanford University, and Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He is the third President of Westminster Seminary California and is a minister in the United Reformed Churches. He has spoken at many conferences including those sponsored by the Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization, the Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology, and Ligonier Ministries.
