The Mission
The mission of the Athletic Program at St. Stephen’s Academy is to instill in our students the Christian values of perseverance, humility, integrity, and grace through athletic competition.
Introduction
The Athletic Program at St. Stephens Academy began in the Fall of 2012. The program is founded on the belief that athletics can illustrate powerful biblical truths. Athletics provide a platform through which the Christian virtues of discipline, commitment, integrity, and faith can be developed, and when conducted with a biblical foundation, athletic programs encourage students in their walk with the Lord.
Information
St. Stephen’s Academy has full membership in the Oregon State Activities Association (OSAA) allowing SSA to field its own teams in girls and boys sports. This also allows our students to participate at other schools in sports that we do not currently offer. St. Stephen’s Academy currently offers Basketball, Cross Country, and Track and Field for grades 6-12, and Archery for grades 1-12.
