27 Sep Mr. David Hicks will speak at Evening Forum
On Thursday, October 5 at 7:00pm, we are hosting Mr. David Hicks to speak at our 2nd Annual St. Stephen’s Academy Evening Forum. This event will be held at our North Campus, in the Evergreen Sanctuary.
Mr. Hicks is one of the most influential voices in Christian education in the last 50 years. Schools like ours exist in large measure due to the vision he presented in his classic book, Norms & Nobility: A Treatise on Education, published in 1981. If you value an education that shapes the minds and the souls of your children – and we assume you do since your children are SSA! – please plan to be at this important event.
In the spring when we sent the calendar at a glance, we listed this event as one where parents were expected, so we encourage at least one parent attend, if possible. Older students are also encouraged to attend. We are charging a small admission fee of $10 per family, to help defray the costs of bringing Mr. Hicks here.
